Future of Veerashiva Lingayats in Karnataka / Indian Politics.

Off late It has been noticed cutting across political party lines that the presence of lingayats in the political process both in the state and center has drastically come down, one because of the lack of unity, second because lack of support by our own people, third because of subcaste Politics, be it be BJP, congress or any other political party, the presence of Lingayats is getting diminished and we have no Political leader from our community who either young or old can lead us after Yedurappa.

The non presence of aggressive mass leader from the community in the political circle is definitely going to effect the community in large in the years to come since the dominance of other communities will rise many fold.

The political parties have no aggressive leaders to even fight for the community causes as you can see in the recently concluded BBMP ( Bhrut Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike ), The total number of lingayats who bagged the tickets are 6 out of 2200 contestants .

If we allow to create a vacuum in the political parties without proper representation and our people not taking active part we will be socially, economically, financially, educationally get suppressed similar to the political suppressant as in the present situation.

The intention of writing this mail is to seek asking people to position themselves in various political parties so that we as a dominant community retains the glory and which will benefit our people for the generations to come.

We Veerashiva Lingayats are well educated and lead in various spheres, the immediate focus should also move into the Political Arena so that our community youth Lead the state and the Nation in the future.

Please support for this cause – In Politics Numbers matters so Lets all support every lingayat in any political party to became the future Leader not for his family but for the community.
